Halflings

Photo-Ireland_Power_and_Privilege_1.jpgHalflings love to drink good beer, play music, tell old stories, and fight.

They’re the ones who get forgotten (or ignored) when treaties are made, and territory is carved up between the icons.

In the 11th Age the halflings, after generations of oppression, revolted against the Empire and sought independence. The Emperor brutally put the rebellion down; and although today the halflings are loyal citizens, they have never forgotten the Great Rebellion. Nor will they ever.

Bags of holding are made from halfling stomachs.
